Jumping Clay & Seascope Lobster Hatchery

A group of Hedni children had a lovely visit to Seascope lobster hatchery in kilkeel.  We got to see and hold starfish, prawns, crabs, terrapins and of course a big blue lobster.    We then painted some lovely fish followed by a snack and a wee break. Then a lovely lady from Jumping clay came and guided us step by step how to make our own octopus from air dry clay which we then got to take home.    The staff are always so friendly and accommodating and we can’t wait to...

Carrickfergus Castle

Two groups of home educating families availed of a fantastic trip to Carrickfergus Castle this week.  We had group tours of the castle and it’s grounds followed by a short film on Carrickfergus castles history.
